We are off the street, in a courtyard with Baseline (and a
bright yellow strip) on
the corner. We are about half-way along the building to your right

- Our stock
comprises new and secondhand books, and interesting miscellaneous items such
as audio-books on CD. We obtain books from our local
suppliers in Australia, from the USA and from the UK. We can order books
in-print, including books which are not in our specialty. We are happy to take
standing orders for favourite authors and series, and to take
wants lists for hard-to-find titles.
Mail orders
are welcome to anywhere in Australia and overseas. We charge postage at
cost; no extra handling charges. We are happy to quote on postage. Payment
can be made by Mastercard, VISA, personal cheque (Australian bank
only), or Australian Money Order. If you have Internet banking Direct Debit
into our account is now available; we'll supply details with the invoice. Overseas readers please enquire - for an
additional fee (which is charged by the banks) we can accept your cheque in
your currency.
Gaslight Books publishes
two monthly newsletters, Sleuth (mysteries) and Other Worlds (science
fiction, fantasy & horror) which appear as Sleuth and Other
Worlds on this site. These can also be emailed to you (see below)
Join our mailing list at no charge
for Sleuth and/or Otherworlds, as well as lists of recent
secondhand arrivals, news of signings, sales and so forth. The attachments are
created in Adobe's PDF format. We have two mail lists, one for
crime and one for SF & fantasy. Please let us know which one you'd like
